Getting ready is more than just preparation - it's the start of one of the best days of your life. Make this moment conscious and special.
Tips:
- Create an atmosphere: Music, scents and personal details can have a positive influence on the mood.
- Choose companionship: Surround yourself with people who are good for you and support you.
- Location: Choose a suitable location. Either at your home, in a hotel or at the location. It is important that you feel comfortable at all times and that you can relax and calm down a little before things really get going.
- Outfit choice: Think about what you want to wear to Getting Ready in advance. It should be comfortable and loose-fitting. It would be an advantage if your outfit has a neutral, muted color so that everything harmonizes well in pictures etc. Important: Choose the outfit so that you don't have to take it off over your head after styling.
- Eat and drink: During styling (especially when styling your hair), you still have plenty of time to eat or drink a little something. Use this time to fortify yourself. The day is usually very long before you eat and/or drink for the first time.
- Little attentions: At Getting Ready, you will often have your parents, best man, groomsmen, siblings, etc. around you. If you like, you can use this time to present them with a small gift. A small gift as a thank you. This can be personalized, for example (bracelet, casket, photos, etc.). Think in advance about what you could do to make them happy.
- Photographic accompaniment: Capture these special moments - they are a precious memory. Either the photographer is already there or a person who accompanies you at the getting ready takes on this wonderful task.
